Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Senior Series is a series of conversations with local experts focused on the unique and complex housing related issues facing mature homeowners and their families.  This month’s topic is The Truth about Downsizing: The Psychology Behind Letting Go.    

Even when you know a simpler life could bring more ease, the act of letting go can feel overwhelming. 

This thoughtful seminar dives into the emotional and psychological weight behind downsizing. We’ll talk about why releasing a home filled with memories—and the belongings that tell your life story—can be so challenging, and we’ll walk through practical ways to move forward with clarity.

This program is geared toward older adults and their family members. It is free and open to the public.  No registration required.
