CLOSING

Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be closed for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. Holds can be picked up through Thu, Jan 8 at Cinco Ranch Branch. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch

Beginning Fri, Jan 9, until the re-opening of the Cinco Ranch Branch building, all items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch on Jan 9 to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Test Proctoring

Fort Bend County Libraries offers test proctoring to the public at no charge, by appointment only.

The library will proctor written, electronic, open-book or closed-book tests. Students must call at least one week in advance to schedule the date and time of the test, and must allow sufficient time for the test to be mailed back to the institution before the deadline. Please call your local branch to learn more and schedule an appointment.

All proctored tests in electronic format must be taken on the library’s computers. Staff will not proctor an exam taken on a personal laptop, so students must ensure that test-taking requirements can be met on the library’s computers as the computers are currently configured. See the library’s Proctoring Policy for more details.
