Description
Senior Series is a series of conversations with local experts focused on the unique and complex housing related issues facing mature homeowners and their families. This month’s topic is Retirement Living Options.
Retirement living is not a one-size-fits-all decision. Many people misunderstand retirement living options or rely on incomplete information from websites and sales-driven sources. This seminar examines the realities of retirement living options, including independent living, assisted living, and other arrangements. We will discuss what proactive planning looks like, how timing affects choice and cost, and what people often wish they had known earlier. Attendees will hear perspectives from retirees who have already made these decisions and gain clearer insight into what matters, what requires planning, and what to consider before making a move.
This program is geared toward older adults and their family members. It is free and open to the public. No registration required.
