Cinco Ranch Branch patrons with hold items available for pickup on or before March 6, 2026, currently being held at the Fulshear Branch Library, should visit the Fulshear Branch to pick up those items. If another location is more convenient, please contact the Fulshear Branch Library to have your items rerouted to your preferred pickup location.

 
Any hold requests filled after March 6 will be held at the Cinco Ranch Branch and will be available during its open hours. The pickup location will be indicated on your hold notification.

Senior Series is a series of conversations with local experts focused on the unique and complex housing related issues facing mature homeowners and their families.  This month’s topic is The Truth About Home Care.  

As we age, many of us prefer to stay in the comfort of our own homes, but understanding the realities of home care is essential to making informed decisions.  Join us as we take a look at the truth about home care, and help seniors and their families navigate the complex world of in-home support. Learn about the different types of home care services available; understand the costs involved and payment options; get tips on finding reputable home care agencies; discover how home care can help you maintain independence and quality of life while receiving the assistance you need; hear from caregiving experts and people with firsthand experience with home care; and understand the pros and cons of aging in place versus moving to an assisted living or senior care community.  Whether you’re considering home care for yourself or helping a loved one plan for the future, this seminar will provide practical insights to help you make the right decision for maintaining comfort and dignity at home.

Liz McNeel, with Keller Williams Metropolitan and Founder of the Houston Senior Living Series will moderate a panel of experts in exploring this topic. This program is geared toward older adults and their family members. It is free and open to the public.  No registration required.
