Presented by Liz McNeel, Keller Williams and Founder of Houston Senior Living Series

Senior Series is a series of conversations with local experts focused on the unique and complex housing related issues facing mature homeowners and their families.  This month’s topic is Paying for Senior Medical Insurance.

Understanding how to manage healthcare costs is a critical part of planning for retirement.  This seminar helps seniors and their families navigate the complex world of medical insurance, providing clarity on how to cover healthcare expenses without unnecessary stress.  Learn about the different types of health insurance options available to seniors; understand what Medicare covers; discover strategies for managing long-term care costs; explore options for prescription drug coverage through Medicare Part D and other programs; get insights into how to handle unexpected medical expenses; learn how to avoid medical billing mistakes and overcharges; and gain tips for making the most of your healthcare dollars while maintaining coverage that meets your medical needs.

Liz McNeel, with Keller Williams Metropolitan and Founder of the Houston Senior Living Series will moderate a panel of experts in exploring this topic. This program is geared toward older adults and their family members. It is free and open to the public.  No registration required.
