Program Description

Description

Presented by Liz McNeel, Keller Williams and Founder of Houston Senior Living Series

Senior Series is a series of conversations with local experts focused on the unique and complex housing related issues facing mature homeowners and their families.  This month’s topic is The Truth About Caregiving.

Caregiving is one of the most challenging yet rewarding roles in life, especially as we age. This seminar is designed to support seniors, caregivers, and families by offering valuable insights and tools to navigate caregiving with confidence, compassion, and resilience. We’ll explore the emotional and physical impact of caregiving, discuss self-care strategies to prevent burnout, and learn to manage specific challenges like dementia and mobility issues. Learn about resources and support networks that help caregivers manage their responsibilities, as well as tips on managing the financial aspects of caregiving.  Hear from experts and individuals who have gone through this stage of life.  Whether you’re currently a caregiver, preparing for the role, or supporting someone who is, this seminar will help you approach caregiving with a holistic and empowering perspective.

Liz McNeel, with Keller Williams Metropolitan and Founder of the Houston Senior Living Series will moderate a panel of experts in exploring this topic.  This program is geared toward older adults and their family members. It is free and open to the public.  No registration required.
