Computers for public use are available on a walk-in basis and by reservation. Computer software available on these computers includes Microsoft Office, Educational Software, and access to the Internet.
Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a service that allows users of Fort Bend County Libraries to borrow from other public, academic, or special libraries throughout Texas and the United States, library materials that are not owned or circulated by our system.
George Memorial Library has a Kurzweil computer that will read text aloud and enlarge print for visually-challenged individuals.
The makerspace project began in 2014, when the library received the Amigos Fellowship and Opportunity Award for innovation and development of new library services.
The Genealogy and Local History Department at George Memorial Library has several microfilm reader/printers available to the public. Copies are 10¢ per page and payment is by coin.
