Join us on Saturday, August 8 at 10:30 am, for a lively discussion of Brave the Wild River by Melissa L. Sevigny. 

Brave the Wild River is the inspiring true story of two pioneering women who braved the Grand Canyon’s perilous rapids in 1938 to chart its plant life, defying expectations and reshaping science. 

There are copies of the book available inside the library.

Park inside the gated lot (VISITOR LOT 4).  Bring your parking ticket with you inside the library to be validated by library staff.  Parking is FREE if you get your ticket validated.  Parking outside the gated lot may result in a parking violation from the University of Houston.
