Cinco Ranch Branch patrons with hold items available for pickup on or before March 6, 2026, currently being held at the Fulshear Branch Library, should visit the Fulshear Branch to pick up those items. If another location is more convenient, please contact the Fulshear Branch Library to have your items rerouted to your preferred pickup location.

 
Any hold requests filled after March 6 will be held at the Cinco Ranch Branch and will be available during its open hours. The pickup location will be indicated on your hold notification.

Description

Children and families are invited to come watch a family film! Bring a pillow and blanket to get cozy, and we'll provide snacks and drinks for the kids.

Movie-goers will be treated to an animated family adventure film which puts a futuristic twist on Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novel, Treasure Island. Restless teen Jim Hawkins sets out on a fantastic journey across the universe as the cabin boy aboard a majestic space galleon. Befriended by the ship’s charismatic cyborg cook, John Silver, Jim blossoms under the older man’s guidance as he and the alien crew battle a supernova, a black hole, and a ferocious space storm. Even greater dangers lie ahead for Jim, however, when he discovers that his trusted friend, Silver, is actually a scheming pirate with mutiny on his mind. This movie is rated PG.
