The library’s catalog vendor, Polaris, is experiencing technical issues, and the catalog is currently unavailable. While it is down, you will not be able to log in to your account, browse the online catalog, or register for a new library card. You must have your library card present when checking out books at the library. We appreciate your patience as Polaris is working to get this resolved as soon as possible. 

CLOSING

Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

No study rooms available? Every Tuesday from September 2nd to December 16th, Meeting Room 2 will be open to high school students needing a quiet place to study. There will also be activities, such as puzzle pages and coloring sheets, available for a study break. 

For students in grades 9-12.  No registration required. 

Park inside the gated lot (VISITOR LOT 4).  Bring your parking ticket with you inside the library to be validated by library staff.  Parking is FREE if you get your ticket validated.  Parking outside the gated lot may result in a parking violation from the University of Houston.
