Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Description

Are you writing a book, or have you always wanted to write but aren't sure how to begin? Join fellow writers for a discussion of writing craft, quiet writing time, feedback, and encouragement.
 
The program begins with introductions, where participants briefly talk about their goals, progress, and projects. Then we dive into a guided discussion on a scheduled writing craft topic.
 
Following the discussion, we dedicate an hour to quiet writing time, with story prompts and a skill challenge available. Afterward, attendees can share up to two pages of their writing.
