The Mission Bend Branch Library is currently closed for repairs. Currently held items may be picked up at the front door by calling 832-471-5900 when you arrive at the library. When you call, have your barcode ready to give to staff. Staff will meet you at the front door with your items. Please have your library card and/or photo ID ready to show staff. Description

Do you love talking about books, eating snacks, and doing fun projects? Join us for a special book club just for students in grades 3-5! Participants will be provided a copy of this month's book to check out. At the first meeting we will start the book and do a themed craft or activity. Participants will be expected to finish the book on their own between meetings. At the second meeting we will discuss the book and do another themed craft or activity. Snacks will be provided! Registration is for both sessions.

Our first book club selection is a fun-filled, lightning-fast tale packed with puzzles and book references. Luigi has a knack for games and puzzles. But sometimes it feels like the cards are stacked against him. Until a carnival arrives in town and Luigi gets the chance of a lifetime—the opportunity to work for the world-famous Professor Marvelmous, a dazzling, banana-hat-wearing barker who puts the show in showman! Will there be puzzles? Of course! Balloons? You bet! Will it be fun? Hello! It’s a Lemon-cello! BONUS! Can you solve the hidden puzzle inside?!

Registration opens on Thursday, September 25 at 10 am and closes the day of the program.
