WEATHER ALERT

All libraries, except Cinco Ranch Branch, will be OPEN normal hours on Saturday, January 24. On Sunday, January 25, George Memorial Library in Richmond (8 am – 5 pm), and Sienna Branch Library (1 pm – 5 pm) will be open as WARMING CENTERS ONLY. Library services will not be available on Sunday. Check back for updates. 

CLOSING

Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Description

Are you ready to venture on an extraordinary animal educational journey filled with laughter, learning, and awe-inspiring creatures? Join the Creature Teacher for a live animal program featuring exciting exotic animals! Can't make it to this performance? Do not worry! The same performance will be held on Tuesday, July 22 at 2pm. This program is made possible thanks to the Friends of the First Colony Branch Library. No registration required, but space is limited. Free tickets will be available one hour before the program at the youth reference desk. Attendees must be present to receive a ticket.
