WEATHER ALERT

All libraries, except Cinco Ranch Branch, will be OPEN normal hours on Saturday, January 24. On Sunday, January 25, George Memorial Library in Richmond (8 am – 5 pm), and Sienna Branch Library (1 pm – 5 pm) will be open as WARMING CENTERS ONLY. Library services will not be available on Sunday. Check back for updates. 

CLOSING

Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

***For Grades 4-8 Only***

Come learn about the history and practice of henna! For those registered, please print out, complete, and bring the release form to the program if interested in receiving a small henna temporary tattoo. This program is only for youth entering grades 4-8 in Fall 2025. 

The activity for this program has been updated due to a last-minute cancellation with our presenter. There will be no Henna art at this event. Youth in grades 4-8 will create unique and sparkly Mandala Art with recycled supplies. This program is only for youth entering grades 4-8 in fall 2025. 

Registration is required for this event, and will open Thursday, July 3, at 3 pm.  

The supplies for this program are provided by the Friends of the Cinco Ranch Branch Library.
