Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be closed for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building.

Holiday:

All Fort Bend County Libraries locations will CLOSE at 5:00 pm Wed, Dec 24, and will be CLOSED from Thu, Dec 25 through Sun, Dec 28, 2025, for Christmas. 

All Fort Bend County Libraries locations will CLOSE at 5:00 pm Wed, Dec 31, and will be CLOSED Thu, Jan 1, 2026, for the New Year's Holiday.

Description

Representatives from AARP will assist in the preparation of income tax returns by appointment only. Please schedule in person at the Sugar Land Branch Library Adult Reference Desk or by phone at 281-238-2140.

Bring the following items to your appointment: photo ID; Social Security card(s) for self, spouse, and all dependents; the previous year's tax return; W-2, 1099s, and any other compensation received in 2023; unemployment compensation statements; and any other documents necessary to complete your return.
