Delay Opening Alert

The George Memorial Library in Richmond and the Library Administration Building will open at 12 pm on Mon, Feb 9, because there will be no water in the buildings. Notary services will also be unavailable during this time.

CLOSING

Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

2025 Photo Exhibit: Vibrant Colors of Fort Bend

Description

Fort Bend County Libraries is proud to present the 
2025 We Are Fort Bend Photography Exhibit – “Vibrant Colors of Fort Bend!”  These photos were entered in the 2025 Photography Contest, which ran from 
June 30 – July 21. 

Amateur photographers of all ages submitted their interpretations of the theme of “Vibrant Colors of Fort Bend” in Fort Bend County. 

The entries were judged in two categories – the Judge’s Choice and the People’s Choice.  The judge’s panel consisted of Brenda Bowman, former President of Art League of Fort Bend; Don Golden with Fort Bend Photography Club; and Diane Whitmarsh, Vice President of Art League of Fort Bend.  The public voted on social media and on FBCL’s website. 

The five winners are displayed here in the Bohachevsky Gallery, along with all the entries in the contest.

The exhibit will be on display Aug 9 – Sep 26.
