The Teacher in the Library service provides FREE homework help, for students in grades 3 through 6, by providing access to qualified teachers in the library for after-school assistance.
Beginning September 3, 2024, qualified teachers will be available Monday through Thursday, from 3 to 6 pm, to help students:
- complete homework assignments;
- prepare for tests;
- improve study habits;
- learn about library databases & electronic resources; and
- grow in confidence.
No appointment is needed, and there is NO COST to participate!

The goal of the program is to supplement and reinforce the lessons being learned in the classroom and to increase students’ self-confidence and motivate them to succeed. Students receive one-on-one attention from experienced teachers in a safe, comfortable environment.
Appointments are not required. Students may arrive anytime during the tutoring sessions on any day the service is offered, as their schedules permit or as homework needs arise. They can choose to attend as often or as little as needed. There is no cost to participate.

Family Story Time- Let's Take a Trip
Stories, songs, and action rhymes for families with children of all ages. This 30-minute activity takes place at the library. Take-home crafts will be available at the end of the program.

Family Program - Colorful Adventures: Learning and Games
Learn all about colors through fun games during these colorful adventures. A memory game and color-matching game are just some of the few group games we will play! This is a family program for all ages.
Summer Blockbuster Bash - Presenting "Zootopia"
Beat the heat, and spend time together at the library with a movie & craft! This week we will be showing the film "Zootopia!" We are unable to accommodate daycares and school groups.
