Delay Opening Alert

The George Memorial Library in Richmond and the Library Administration Building will open at 12 pm on Mon, Feb 9, because there will be no water in the buildings. Notary services will also be unavailable during this time.

CLOSING

Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Our library provides free access to MasterFILE Complete, a research database from EBSCO that contains hundreds of reference e-books as well as complete articles for thousands of reputable magazines and journals, including Consumer Reports, Better Homes & Gardens, People, TIME, Sports Illustrated and U.S. News & World Report. You’ll find reliable information on a variety of topics to help you with research for school, your job, or when you simply want to learn something new.

To search Consumer Reports content, visit the Consumer Reports search page and type your search terms ("Electric Vehicles," for example) in the second field to see articles. You can click on "Access Options" under the articles that interest you, and select "PDF" to view the article in its original format, or "Online full text" to view the text of the article.
