CLOSING

Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Friends of Missouri City Branch Library

History

The organizational meeting of the Friends was held on November 10, 1993. Cheryl Knox was named the first president of the Friends of the Missouri City Library.

Mission Statement

We will promote the cause of the Missouri City Branch Library in the community.

Book Sales

We have an ongoing book sale in the library during regular library hours. We have at least two major book sales per year.

Prices
All items are individually priced.

Donations

We accept all books in good-to-fair condition. Books may be left at the circulation desk during regular library hours. Please, no encyclopedias.

Program Support

The organization provides extra funds for children, teens, and adults reading programs, Staff Development Day and conferences, as well as for another library needs not provided for in the county budget.

Volunteers

We are always looking for volunteers to assist with the sorting and organizing of donated books and help with the book sales.
