Join us as we create these sweet St. Patrick’s Day themed party favors using chocolate kisses and cardstock. They are so cute and perfect to put out for guests at your St. Patrick’s Day party!  They come in a 3-leaf or 4-leaf variety!

Celebrate spring with a hammered-flower print! Learn how to transfer the natural dyes from fresh flowers to fabric to create a unique floral print. 

Begin the new year with good food that brings luck and good fortune! Partake in traditional celebratory foods served for Lunar New Year! We’ll be talking about the symbolism behind each food and serving samples.

The North America Youth Chinese Orchestra will perform traditional Chinese music on classical stringed instruments.

The USA Tai Chi Academy will bring their best students to showcase the health benefits of tai chi as the beauty of the martial art. Start the year off with a new way to exercise and find Zen through mindfulness!

Channel your inner mad scientist as we create slime. Learn about the science behind slime and how you can make it at home. This program is for youth in grades 4-8.

In this workshop, participants will take part in designing and creating their very own customized journal.

Learn more about the ceremonial lion dance that appears at every Lunar New Year celebration! Get a chance to get up close and personal with the “lions,” take photos with the dancers, and learn how they bring the lions to life!

Join us every week for Family Coloring Hour! Bring your own coloring pages and supplies or choose from our designs and supplies. We will play relaxing music while we color to help us unwind. 

Come build with the library! We'll have LEGO, Keva Planks, Squigz, boxes, and other building blocks and tools. There are monthly challenges, or you can build whatever you can imagine! This program is recommended for grades K-5.

Join us for hands-on learning about birds! Create bird feeders and learn about nests and bird identification. 

Close your eyes and imagine the sound of a wind chime. Hear the peaceful sounds of bells ringing as the wind passes through. Make this tranquil scene a reality by creating your own Beaded Wind Chime on Thursday, March 5.
