Watercolor classes are the perfect way to express yourself through painting! This monthly class is perfect for beginners, or those who have some experience in watercolors, and are eager to learn more.

Stories, songs, and action rhymes for families with children of all ages. Take-home crafts will be available at the end of the program.

We are unable to accommodate daycares and school groups in this program.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day! We will be creating Heart Shaped Wreaths using recycled rags and fabrics as well as other household craft supplies!

Fort Bend County Libraries will host Lunar New Year Celebrations at several locations in January and February.

Youth in grades 4-8 are invited to transform clay pots into  their favorite Pokemon through the magic of paint!

Create beautiful flowers with wire, then paint them with nail polish to really make them pop!  Once dry, they can be displayed as art, or used to make jewelry.  This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of University Branch Lib

Come build with the library! We'll have LEGO, Keva Planks, Squigz, boxes, and other building blocks and tools. There are monthly challenges, or you can build whatever you can imagine! This program is recommended for grades K-5.

Join us for a fun program to explore new topics and learn new skills on the first and third Wednesday of the month.  Arts, crafts, and activities for grades 1-5.  This week, join us to create sand art and use sand to create a 3D shape!

Use your senses to identify hidden objects inside the mystery boxes! Materials for this program are made possible by the Friends of the Sugar Land Branch Library. After-School Break is for students in grades K-3.

Test your problem solving and engineering skills while building roller coasters! This program will provide a variety of challenges for attendees to test their reasoning and planning skills. This program is for children in grades 1-5 only.

Become an artist at our February Creative Connections program! We will be testing our creative skills by making Clay Magnets. See what artistic designs you can sculpt with the clay and then display it at home using a magnet.

Unleash your creativity in our teen art club!  Draw, paint, collage, crochet, or bring in any artsy project YOU want to work on.  Some basic supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring in your own.

Teens seeking a creative haven are welcome to come to this gathering to work on a new arts and crafts project every month.

Looking for a seasonal craft? Come make a pink, white, and red heart shaped wreath with old puzzle pieces.  

Join us in celebrating the art of Chinese calligraphy! Learn about Chinese calligraphy, practice writing Chinese characters, and even create a calligraphy design using brush and ink.

Participants will discuss what graphic novels they are reading, as well as talking about new and upcoming graphic novels.

This program is for youth in grades 4-8 only. Space is limited.
