Registration is required. Supplies provided by Friends of the Missouri City Branch Library.

Bring your crafting project to work on and meet others with similar interests. Share ideas, get tips and inspiration, and learn something new!

Please bring your own materials to finish a project or start a new one.

Stories, songs, and action rhymes for families with children of all ages. Take-home crafts will be available at the end of the program.

Join us for an hour of imaginative play at the library! We'll start with some brief songs and rhymes to wake up our imagination, then children and their caregivers will rotate through a variety of dramatic play stations together.

It's a New Year so that means we need a refresh! We are getting crafty and making our own personalized "Color-Coded" agenda boards. This program is for children in grades 4-8 only. 

Whether you are a beginner, an expert, or somewhere in between, join us for a fun afternoon of learning and skill sharing with other artists and crafters. Please bring a project you are working on to share with the group.

Looking for a fun way to keep track of the new year without buying a new calendar? Join us in making perpetual wood block calendars!

Join us for an afternoon of building fun with LEGOS, Keva Planks, Magnetic Tiles and other building blocks and tools.

This program is for students in grades K-5 only.

Join us for a fun program to explore new topics and learn new skills on the first and third Wednesday of the month.  Arts, crafts, and activities for grades 1-5.  

Experiment with shapes as you design snowflakes out of popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, and beads! Children in grades K-5 are invited to participate in this STEAM-based activity. Space is limited!

Learn about electrons and their participation in creating static electricity through a variety of experiments. This program is recommended for children in grades 1-5.

Looking for a place to show off your knitting, crocheting or other needlework skills? Come meet with your friends or make some new ones while catching up on your “stitches.”

Come learn the basics of watercolors and create a simple painting.

How far can you launch a projectile? Design and build a catapult out of craft supplies. Then, compete with other participants to see who can go the farthest! This program is for kids in grades 4-8.  Space is limited!
