Do you like to crochet, knit, or sew? Bring your yarn, strings, and needles to Fulshear Branch Library and let’s thread together! Nifty Needlers meets the third Tuesday of each month. All skill levels are welcome. No registration is required.

For teens in grades 9-12.

Inspired to "color our world", learn about contemporary artists while creating your own masterpiece inspired by these works of art. 

This week's featured topic is Byzantine mosaics and tiles.

For grades 4-8 only. Light up your summer with creativity in our Glow Up: Lanterns program.

Join us every week for Family Coloring Hour! Bring your own coloring pages and supplies or choose from our designs and supplies. We will play relaxing music while we color to help us unwind. 

Stories, songs, and action rhymes for families with children of all ages. Take-home crafts will be available at the end of the program.

Want to show your love for your favorite musical artist in a fun and creative way? Join us in using alphabet and colorful beads to create unique bracelets.

All supplies will be provided.

Movie night, but make it colorful! Vote on a movie to watch, or get creative with an interactive flick where you color by numbers or stickers. It's your show!

This program is for teens in grades 9-12.

Explore your artistic creativity and paint your very own colorful, mosaic-like masterpiece. Participants will use paint to create their own abstract paintings inspired by Alma Woodsey Thomas. 

Have you ever been tempted to create an ugly art piece or try out various artistic combinations? Join us for Bad Art Night and let your curiosity inspire you to create a unique art piece. All art skill levels are welcome.

Get ready to hit a home run with Orion the Space Cowboy, the mascot of the Sugar Land Space Cowboys baseball team! Join us for an exciting and interactive program where kids can learn all about the game of baseball while meeting Orion.

It's time for the ultimate showdown! Compete against friends and fellow Super Smash Bro. Ultimate enthusiasts to claim the title of champion! Join in the tournament for a chance to win prizes! Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Celebrate World Emoji Day by taking part in emoji-themed crafts and games. Kids entering grades 4-8 are invited to join us for this activity. 

Today is all about colorful crafting! We will be making our own bookmarks to use for our reading and a beautiful suncatcher filled with colorful tissue paper. This is a family program for all ages.

Trace the shapes, draw figures, doodle some lines, and let your imagination drift. With an abstract watercolor drawing as a canvas - use markers, pens, or pencils to create your masterpiece.

Create a work of Zen Doodle art with black cardstock and gel-pens!  This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of University Branch Library.  No registration required.
