For teens in grades 9-12.

Inspired to "color our world", learn about contemporary artists while creating your own masterpiece inspired by these works of art. 

For grades 4-8 only. Get creative this summer with healthy snacks in our Vibrant Bites program!

Join us every week for Family Coloring Hour! Bring your own coloring pages and supplies or choose from our designs and supplies. We will play relaxing music while we color to help us unwind. 

Learn how to chain stitch in Beyond the Basics Embroidery! Although we will not be covering all the basics, this workshop is still open to people of all levels of experience, just don't expect to learn your basic stitches this time.

Come learn the basics of watercolors and create a simple painting. This painting is of koi fish. 

Stories, songs, and action rhymes for families with children of all ages. Take-home crafts will be available at the end of the program.

We are unable to accommodate daycares and school groups in this program.

Let's build something amazing! Children in grades 1-5 are invited to come build with blocks, LEGO®, Magna-Tiles, and more. No tickets required for entry, this program is a come-and-go event.

Get ready for Wild Bird Adventures with Mary Anne Morris. Join us at the library for a unique and exciting experience where you'll meet live birds up close!

Are you ready to be a spy? Create your spy name and join us as we navigate a laser maze, crack codes, and become super secret spies. Kids entering grades 4-8 are invited to join us for this activity. 

In the heat of summer, bugs are everywhere! Texas Master Naturalist is back to teach us about bugs and insects as well as helping us create our own insect rubbings. This is a family program for all ages.

Paint a terracotta pot, then plant something in it!  This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of University Branch Library.  For students in grades 9-12.  Material are limited, and registration is required.
