Make a Recycled Book Garland! All supplies will be provided.

For children in grades 4-8.  Space is limited to first 20 participants. We are unable to accommodate daycares and school groups. 

If you enjoy drawing or making art be sure to join us every 3rd Monday of the month for the Mamie George (MG) Drawing Club.  We will have a variety of art supplies and paper for you to choose from and try out, or you could bring your own sket

Create a moveable cardboard hand! Youth will build a simple robotic hand using common household materials. Supplies and refreshments are provided courtesy of the Friends of the Sugar Land Branch Library.

Do you like to crochet, knit, or sew? Bring your yarn, strings, and needles to Fulshear Branch Library and let’s thread together! Nifty Needlers meets every second Saturday and third Tuesday of each month. All skill levels are welcome.

Join us every week for Family Coloring Hour! Bring your own coloring pages and supplies or choose from our designs and supplies. We will play relaxing music while we color to help us unwind. 

Stories, songs, and action rhymes for families with children of all ages. Take-home crafts will be available at the end of the program.

This program is for ages 14 and up, including adults.

Explore the arts! Join us to learn about Ancient Roman art in this new After-School Break series. This month attendees will learn about the ancient Roman art of mosaics! This program is for children in grades 1-5 only.

November is Native American Heritage Month. Join us on Thursday, November 20, at 4:00 pm to learn how to bead your own Sunflower Bracelet.

In recognition of Native American Heritage Month, teens are invited to dive into the world of Formline art - a powerful visual tradition of Indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest.

Join us for an introduction to creative writing, where you will write a short story using a given prompt. This program is for youth in grades 4-8 only. Materials are provided by the Friends of the Fulshear Branch Library.

Join us for Homeschool Social Hour at the library! This program provides a welcoming space for kids to make friends and explore new activities. Parents can network, share resources, and exchange ideas while the kids enjoy crafts, games, and more.

Families are encourged to come to the library for a screen free family hour of putting together puzzles! Supplies are provided the only thing we need is you and your family!
