Warm up by sipping on some delicious hot chocolate, then “chill” out by making snow-inspired slime to take home!  This program is recommended for grades Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Join us for a relaxing variety of tabletop games, floor puzzles, and building materials as we wind down the fall semester. This program is for grades K-5 only. We are unable to accommodate daycares and school groups. 

Stories, songs, and action rhymes for families with children of all ages. Take-home crafts will be available at the end of the program. Pajamas and blankets welcome!

Join us every week for Adult Coloring Hour! Bring your own coloring pages and supplies or choose from our designs and supplies. We will play relaxing music while we color to help us unwind. 

Using only gumdrops and toothpicks, make a bridge that can support a book! Kids in grades 4-8 are invited to join us for this STEM-based craft.

During this come-and-go activity time, a variety of board games, jigsaw puzzles, and more will be available for children (up through grade 8) and their caregivers to enjoy! Try out a new game and meet new friends!

Board games are more than just a way to pass the time. They also benefit your brain, your social skills, and your well-being. So, bring a friend or just yourself and join us in playing some fun board games.

Youth in grades 4-8 are invited to a Nintendo Switch games and snacks! Play games for a chance to win some amazing prices! Materials for this program were made possible by the Friends of First Colony Branch Library.  

Engage in a hands-on robotics workshop using VEX Robotics kits. Participants will build and program robots with Scratch block coding, incorporating sensors for interactivity. The session concludes with a friendly Battle Bots competition.
