Mother Goose Time is a 30-minute multi-sensory activity time designed for pre-walkers from 0-12 months of age. Mother Goose Time includes rhymes, finger plays, and lullabies designed for early educational development.

Stories, songs, and action rhymes for families with children of all ages. This 30-minute activity takes place at the library. 

We are unable to accommodate daycares and school groups.

Join us for Homeschool Social Hour at the library! This program provides a welcoming space for children to make friends and explore new activities.

Sing and Dance along with Andyroo and the Andyrooniverse to winter holiday classics and Andyroo's original songs at the University Branch Library! This program is intended for children & their families.

Families and children of all ages are invited to join us for a flute performance, interspersed with a Christmas tale.

Enjoy cookies, hot cocoa, coloring, and holiday activity sheets while watching The Muppet Christmas Carol, or participate in a scavenger hunt!

Relax and enjoy classic holiday music, performed by Fort Bend Brass, while enjoying cookies and hot cocoa.  This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of University Branch Library.  No registration required.   

Celebrate the Holidays with us!  Sip some cocoa, watch a movie, and create festive ornaments out of pipe cleaners. For all ages.

Families are welcome to come to the library for a screen free family hour of coloring together! Remember how much fun it was to color as a kid, well here is your excuse to show your artistic side.

Children and families are invited to get in the holiday spirit with crafts, cookie creations, and holiday cartoons. For all ages. 

The holidays are among us and what better way to get into the winter mood than with a celebration of the winter holidays using puppets!

Families are encourged to come to the library for a screen free family hour of putting together puzzles! Supplies are provided the only thing we need is you and your family!

Join us as we celebrate New Year's at Noon featuring DJ Jeffrey.

Space is limited to 200. Hand stamps are available one-half hour before the show. We are unable to accommodate daycares and school groups.

Celebrate the new year with a countdown to noon instead of midnight! We'll celebrate this year with the Texas Bubblers, and local community favorite Shelly McBubbles. It will be a bubble celebration with a countdown to noon to close out.

This family-friendly event begins at 11:30 am with crafts, and games for all ages. As the clock approaches noon, there will be a special countdown and bubble release that will fill the air with bubbles and excitement!
