We are looking for volunteers to join the Friends of Sugar Land Branch Library.
We will meet in the Genealogy & Local History Department at the George Memorial Library. We will offer a mini workshop where you can learn how to uncover your ancestors' stories.
AARP is assisting individuals with free tax returns on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, from February 2 - April 13. This is by appointment only (ranging from 9:30 am - 2:30 pm).

Bring your laptop or notebook and join us for some quiet writing time. Participants will spend the majority of the hour writing. Then they will have the opportunity to share what they have been working on, if they wish to.

Gather a team of up to 4 people for our Speed-Puzzling Competition. Teams will have 2 hours to complete a 500-piece puzzle. The team that completes their puzzle the fastest wins!
Fort Bend County Master Gardener Deborah Birge will show you how to grow fruit successfully in our climate. She will discuss varieties of fruit, when to plant, and the best way to plant them.
