Program Description

Description

Gardening a great physical exercise as well as a therapeutic activity. As we age, some of the gardening chores may start to get difficult. Presented by Suma Mudan of the Fort Bend Master Gardeners, this presentation illustrates how yoga can help in stretching and strengthening the muscles and joints. Attendees will gain a better understanding of both yoga and general gardening. An interactive component of this presentation will allow audiences to participate in gentle stretches with focus on the muscle groups that are most involved in gardening.

Registration is required. Register online, in person, or call 832-471-5908.
