Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be closed for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building.

Holiday:

All Fort Bend County Libraries locations will CLOSE at 5:00 pm Wed, Dec 24, and will be CLOSED from Thu, Dec 25 through Sun, Dec 28, 2025, for Christmas. 

All Fort Bend County Libraries locations will CLOSE at 5:00 pm Wed, Dec 31, and will be CLOSED Thu, Jan 1, 2026, for the New Year's Holiday.

Description

It's science time with the library!  Join us online for our STEAM Craft Carnival. In this 15-minute pre-recorded video we will create a Bee Buzzer, Singing Spoons, and a Wind Catcher.  During each craft we will discuss the science involved, and everyday things that utilize that science. Limited craft packets will be available for pick-up at the First Colony Branch Library for this programming beginning Tuesday, May 4th. This program is made possible by the Friends of the First Colony Branch Library.
