Delay Opening Alert

The George Memorial Library in Richmond and the Library Administration Building will open at 12 pm on Mon, Feb 9, because there will be no water in the buildings. Notary services will also be unavailable during this time.

CLOSING

Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Description

Master puppeteer Jean Kuecher, producer of Marionette Playhouse, will entertain with her beautifully handcrafted marionettes on an elaborate stage, with music and lighting. In this puppet show, the Good Fairy helps the Handsome Prince battle the Wicked Witch’s dragon, but then the prince can’t remember how to awaken the Princess Sleeping Beauty! After the performance, learn some of the backstage secrets and special effects. Recommended for families with children of all ages, this virtual performance is presented in conjunction with Young Audiences of Houston.
