Description

Teen Financial Literacy Series

Learning to take care of personal finances can be overwhelming, so let the library provide guidance and advice to help understand how to manage money. Over the next several months, Janelle Johnson -- from the Fort Bend County Extension Program -- will cover: creating and maintaining a budget, credit management, introduction to credit cards, and different types of insurance. Registration is required; register online, in person, or by calling 281-342-4455.

In this class, teens will learn how credit cards, loans, and credit scores work. They will also hear about strategies for using credit wisely while avoiding excessive debt.
