The Mission Bend Branch Library is currently closed for repairs. Currently held items may be picked up at the front door by calling 832-471-5900 when you arrive at the library. When you call, have your barcode ready to give to staff. Staff will meet you at the front door with your items. Please have your library card and/or photo ID ready to show staff. Teen Financial Literacy Series

Learning to take care of personal finances can be overwhelming, so let the library provide guidance and advice to help understand how to manage money. Over the next several months, Janelle Johnson -- from the Fort Bend County Extension Program -- will cover: creating and maintaining a budget, credit management, introduction to credit cards, and different types of insurance. Registration is required; register online, in person, or by calling 281-342-4455.

In this class, teens will learn how to create and stick to a budget by tracking income and expenses, prioritizing needs over wants, and saving for future goals.
