Description
The Teacher in the Library after school homework help program is launching at George Memorial Library! The Teacher in the Library program is an afterschool homework help program aimed at students of all ages who need assistance with schoolwork. Anybody can drop in Mondays through Thursdays from 3pm – 6pm starting September 2 through May 28.
We will be kicking off this program with celebration, cake, fun activities, crafts, read-alouds, local organizations, and keynote speeches from Judge KP George, Commissioner Dexter McCoy (unconfirmed), and Library Director Roosevelt Weeks. Artie the Owl will also make an appearance, so be sure to catch some photos with them! We will also registering students at the event.
Refreshments are generously provided by the Office of Judge KP George.
