WEATHER ALERT

All libraries, except Cinco Ranch Branch, will be OPEN normal hours on Saturday, January 24. On Sunday, January 25, George Memorial Library in Richmond (8 am – 5 pm), and Sienna Branch Library (1 pm – 5 pm) will be open as WARMING CENTERS ONLY. Library services will not be available on Sunday. Check back for updates. 

CLOSING

Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

UPDATE: Starting in January 2025, the Talk Back Book Club will now meet on the 2nd Saturday of the month, from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. This book club will meet on Saturday, January 11.

Talk Back is a book club -- covering a variety of fiction and non-fiction titles alike -- that previously met on the 2nd Thursday of each month, but will now meet on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Join our discussion of The Bad-Ass Librarians of Timbuktu and Their Race to Save the World’s Most Precious Manuscripts by Joshua Hammer. A limited number of copies of each month’s selection are available after each month’s book club meeting.
