Program Description

Description

Are you writing a book?  Or have you always wanted to write but don't know how to start?  Join fellow authors for creative thinking and discussions of the writing process.

The program begins with introductions.  Pitch us your project.  Talk about your goals and progress.

Next comes a 15 minute presentation and discussion of a requested theme.  This month's theme is: Flow.

Following the presentation, 3 new story prompts and a skill challenge will display on the big screen.  We'll have an hour of quiet writing time, which you can use to try out the prompts or challenge or work on an existing writing/editing project.  Be sure to bring a device or paper to write on, and if you like to listen to music while you work, bring headphones.

After an hour of writing, we'll have an opportunity to share what we wrote.

Ages 14 and up.
