Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Description

Join STEMsters for an Egg Drop Lesson. Participants will work in groups to build protective models around an egg using straw and tap, then test their designs by dropping the eggs to see which survive. 

STEMsters is a group of high school students leading a STEMsters branch, making science fun and hands-on for younger learners. We follow an established curriculum made with guidance from teachers and mentors to ensure all activities are safe and engaging. We have completed advanced science classes and received training from STEMsters in safety and youth teaching.

This program is intended for youth in grades K-8.
