Program Description

Description

Senior Series is a series of conversations with local experts focused on the unique and complex housing related issues facing mature homeowners and their families.  This month’s topic is Staying in Control & Communicating With Allies.

Take charge of your life by improving communication with family, caregivers, and trusted allies. Participants will learn how to clearly express their wishes around healthcare, finances, and living arrangements, build strong support systems, and use legal tools like power of attorney to ensure their decisions are honored. The seminar also offers practical strategies for navigating family dynamics, having tough conversations, and maintaining independence with confidence and clarity.

Liz McNeel, with Keller Williams Metropolitan and Founder of the Houston Senior Living Series will moderate a panel of experts in exploring this topic.  This program is geared toward older adults and their family members. It is free and open to the public.  No registration required.
