Program Description

Description

No one likes to consider the possibility of ever having to move to a “nursing home” or long-term healthcare community. It is for this reason that few people do any advance planning or investigation into such arrangements. While only a small percentage of Americans live in a nursing home providing extended full-time care, studies show that over 70% of people over age 70 will need at least some level of skilled or long-term care during their lifetimes. In this class we will explore local residential healthcare options including assisted living, long-term, as well as hospice/palliative, and in-home healthcare.

This is a live-streamed program. Please check your email an hour before the event to get the link!
