The George Memorial Library in Richmond and the Library Administration Building will open at 12 pm on Mon, Feb 9, because there will be no water in the buildings. Notary services will also be unavailable during this time.

CLOSING

Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Reel Talk is a series of documentary screenings at University Branch Library with brief discussions of the films after they are shown.  Final Account is a powerful documentary that examines the reflections and remorse of former Nazi party members and their descendants, offering a chilling insight into the lasting impact of their actions during World War II.  It runs 1 hour and 34 minutes.  It is rated PG13.  This event honors this year’s Holocaust Remembrance Day, which begins at sundown. 

Park inside the gated lot (VISITOR LOT 4).  Bring your parking ticket with you inside the library to be validated by library staff.  Parking is FREE if you get your ticket validated.  Parking outside the gated lot may result in a parking violation from the University of Houston.
