CLOSING

Cinco Ranch Branch Library is currently CLOSED for carpet replacement and will RE-OPEN on Monday, March 9. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

Cinco Ranch Branch patrons with hold items available for pickup on or before March 6, 2026, currently being held at the Fulshear Branch Library, should visit the Fulshear Branch to pick up those items. If another location is more convenient, please contact the Fulshear Branch Library to have your items rerouted to your preferred pickup location.

 
Any hold requests filled after March 6 will be held at the Cinco Ranch Branch and will be available during its open hours. The pickup location will be indicated on your hold notification.

 

Pumpkin-Decorating Contest

Description

The Albert George Branch Library in Needville is hosting a Pumpkin-Decorating Contest for all ages. Decorated pumpkins must be delivered to the library on either Monday, October 27, or Tuesday, October 28, during library hours to be eligible for prizes.   Voting will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, October 29 & 30.  This contest requires an artificial pumpkin.  Real pumpkins will not be accepted.  Entry forms with rules will be available at the library’s front desk.  For more information, call 281-238-2850.
