Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be closed for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. Holds can be picked up through Thu, Jan 8 at Cinco Ranch Branch. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch. 

Beginning Fri, Jan 9, until the re-opening of the Cinco Ranch Branch building, all items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch on Jan 9 to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Description

Are you writing a book?  Or have you always wanted to write but don't know how to start?  Join fellow authors for creative thinking and discussions of the writing process.

The program begins with introductions. Tell us what you've been working on and about your goals and progress.

Next comes a guided discussion of a requested theme.  This month's theme is: Exposition.

After the discussion, participants will have an hour of quiet writing time, followed by the opportunity to share aloud up to two pages of their writing. Prompts and skill challenges are provided.
