Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Description

Garage Arts Project presents -- World Beats! Join us on a foot-tapping trip around the world as we present to you drumming groups from India (Houston Parai Kuzhu), West Africa (Joy of Djembe), and Japan (Kaminari Taiko). World Beats promises to be an immersive and interactive experience. The groups will involve the audiences in their rhythmic offerings and provide an opportunity to learn about these varied percussive styles.
