Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Description

Join us for a showing of Independence Day (1996) in honor of Independence Day. 

This Sci-Fi action-adventure movie, released in 1996, stars Will Smith, Jeff Goldblum, and Judd Hirsch. After communications systems worldwide are sent into chaos by a strange atmospheric interference on July 2nd, it is discovered that a mysterious alien species is targeting Earth. On July 3rd, the aliens all but obliterate major metropolitan hubs around the world. A group of survivors heads to a government testing ground known as Area 51 to devise a plan to fight for freedom on July 4th. This Academy-Award-winning film is rated PG-13.
