The George Memorial Library in Richmond and the Library Administration Building will open at 12 pm on Mon, Feb 9, because there will be no water in the buildings. Notary services will also be unavailable during this time.

CLOSING

Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Welcome to FBCL’s online book club! We invite anyone 18 and up who enjoy the comfort of virtual meetings, to join us online every fourth Wednesday at 10:00am on Webex.  We will be discussing A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles.

In 1922, Count Alexander Rostov is deemed an unrepentant aristocrat by a Bolshevik tribunal, and is sentenced to house arrest in the Metropol, a grand hotel across the street from the Kremlin. Rostov, an indomitable man of erudition and wit, has never worked a day in his life, and must now live in an attic room while some of the most tumultuous decades in Russian history are unfolding outside the hotel’s doors.
