Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. VOTING WILL take place at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Description

The goal of this course is to assist attorneys in navigating online legal research so they feel more confident and competent when researching subjects important to their work.

What is legal analytics? Everyone has heard the buzz, but most of us have not had much exposure to the concept. During this session we will answer this question and review general trends in artificial intelligence, including the mechanisms by which this data is being used by legal professionals. We will also focus in detail about how the Model Rules of Professional Conduct are implicated by the use of this technology, and what the future holds for legal professionals as this technology continues to evolve.
