Delay Opening Alert

The George Memorial Library in Richmond and the Library Administration Building will open at 12 pm on Mon, Feb 9, because there will be no water in the buildings. Notary services will also be unavailable during this time.

CLOSING

Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Description

Come join us for a discussion of "Prophetic City" written by Stephen Klineberg.  This book was selected as this year's Fort Bend Community Reads selection.  "Prophetic City" is a nonfiction book about the economic and demographic development of Houston since the 1980s, based on research from the Kinder Institute for Urban Research which the author, Stephen Klineberg, has founded.

Registration is not required.  You may check out our selected book from the Circulation Desk at Cinco Ranch Branch Library.  New members are always welcome.
