Program Description: Fort Bend Master Gardeners, in conjunction with Texas A&M Agri-Life Science Extension, will be teaching Fort Bend County residents how to create landscapes that are beautiful, low-maintenance, and environmentally sustainable using Earth-Kind® Landscaping to achieve 

 Conservation of water and protection of water quality 

 Reduction of fertilizer and pesticide use 

 Energy conservation 

 Reduction of yard wastes entering urban landfills 

This week, Fort Bend Master Gardeners Ed Plant and Amanda Banduch will discuss how to successfully compost at home!
