Description

Join us as we explore the art of shibori, a fabric dyeing technique where fabric is folded and clamped between boards, stitched and gathered, wrapped around a pole, or pleated and then dyed in indigo. Attendees will practice various binding techniques on fabric squares and then dye their creations in vat of indigo.

Materials will be supplied by the generous support of the Friends of Sugar Land Library
