Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Description

An introduction to some of the free online resources that are available to the genealogical researcher.  There will also be a demonstration of databases such as FamilySearch.org, Find-a-Grave, HeritageQuest and more. We'll also cover tips and strategies for more efficient internet searching.

This program is presented by Daniel Sample, the manager of the Genealogy and Local History Department of Fort Bend County Libraries.
